Home     Measuring & Fitting

Available sizes for all of our products are shown on the individual product pages in our online catalog. Each manufacturer has their own specific size availability of 'tall' and 'short' sizes, waist sizes etc (for example one pant style may come stock in a 33" waist, another may not). Because we carry many different brands, there is no single size chart to cover all items.

If you would like specific size charts for any brand please let us know, we will be happy to email or fax them to you. In general, we recommend ordering the same size you normally do when buying clothing. While there are subtle sizing differences across brands, the manufacturers adhere to an acceptable 'range' when sizing their garments. Our sales reps have extensive experience with the fit of our products and will be able to help you in determining what to order.

For most orders, we are happy to send you a range of sizes to try-on before you order. We ship these items to you as samples so all it costs you is the freight to ship them back to us.

Measuring is also a good way to determine what sizes to order. If you prefer to measure, below find some tips we hope you will find useful.

▪ Always keep the tape measure straight but not tight.
▪ Allow for 'slight' shrinkage on garments that are not pre-washed.
▪ Stand straight and relaxed.
▪ Wear shoes when measuring for pants.
▪ If an individual falls between sizes, order the larger size.
▪ An individual should not measure themselves.

Measuring women

BUST: Measure around shoulder blades, under arms, to the fullest part of the bust. Note that 'bust size' does not mean 'bra size'.

WAIST: Stand in a relaxed position, measure around narrowest part of natural waist.

HIPS: Measure around the fullest part, normally about seven inches below natural waistline.

INSEAM: Stand with legs straight and slightly apart, feet flat. Hold one end of the tape to the base of the crotch. Straighten tape down the inside of the leg to the top of shoe.

Measuring men

NECK: Measure around the middle of the neck. Tape should be snug but not tight.

CHEST: Measure around shoulder blades, under arms, to the fullest part of the chest.

WAIST: Stand in a relaxed position, measure around narrowest part of natural waist.

SLEEVE: Bend elbow and measure from the center of the back of neck, across the shoulder and down the arm to the wrist bone.

INSEAM: Stand with legs straight and slightly apart, feet flat. Hold one end of the tape to the base of the crotch. Straighten tape down the inside of the leg to the top of shoe.
